1. Who we are
KaroSmart (this app) helps contractors and related professionals prepare quotations, manage clients and projects, document site measurements, and coordinate work such as assignments to associates. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility & account
You must provide accurate information, including a valid mobile number used for sign-in and important notices. You are responsible for keeping your PIN secure. One person should use one account unless your organisation has agreed otherwise with us in writing.
3. Subscriptions & payments
Some features require an active subscription or plan as shown in the app. Fees, renewal dates, and limits (for example clients or projects) are described at purchase. Unless required by law, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
4. Your content & data
You keep ownership of data you enter (clients, projects, photos, notes). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, back up, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service. You may export or delete data where the app allows; residual backups may persist for a limited time.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no unlawful work, harassment, spam, attempts to break security, or scraping at scale. Do not upload malware. We may suspend access for serious or repeated breaches.
6. Location & third-party services
Optional features may use device location (for example discovery or maps). Maps, speech, or other SDKs are subject to their providers’ terms. You can control location in device settings.
7. Team & associates
When you add workers or professionals to a team, you confirm you have a legitimate relationship and authority to store their contact details. Discovery and team features must be used respectfully and in line with applicable labour and privacy laws.
8. Disclaimer
The app is a business tool. It does not replace professional engineering, legal, or safety advice. Quotations and measurements are your responsibility to verify on site.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data beyond reasonable efforts to restore from backup.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after notice (for example in-app or by SMS) means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be highlighted when reasonable.
