Refund policy

Effective date: 26 April 2026

At KaroSmart we aim for a smooth experience. These rules cover refunds for plans, subscriptions, and related payments. Payment gateways such as Razorpay may also apply their own terms and timelines.

1. Plan & subscription payments

Payments for plans or subscriptions are generally non-refundable once made. We may consider refunds in limited cases such as: duplicate charges for the same subscription period; or clear technical errors on our side or the payment gateway (for example Razorpay) that we can verify.

2. Service cancellation

If you cancel a service request before a provider has been assigned, you may be eligible for a full refund of any amount paid for that specific request, subject to verification. If cancellation happens after assignment or work has started, refunds may be partial or unavailable, decided case by case in line with our policies shown in the app.

3. Failed transactions

If an amount was debited from your account but the service or subscription was not activated, we will work with the payment provider to resolve it. Where a refund is due, it is typically processed within 5–7 business days after confirmation; your bank or card issuer may take additional time to credit you.

4. Refund process

Approved refunds are sent back through the original payment method where possible. Timing can depend on banks, Razorpay, or other payment partners. We do not guarantee instant credits.

5. Contact for refunds

Email info@karosmart.in with: your transaction or order ID; registered mobile number or email on the account; and a short description of the issue. We may ask for additional proof to prevent fraud.

6. Abuse of this policy

We may refuse or reverse refunds where we detect misuse, chargeback abuse, or fraudulent activity. We reserve the right to suspend accounts in serious cases.
